Corporate fund-raising charity event to defeat T1D
The JDRF revolution ride to defeat diabetes is an annual charity event to raise fund for type one diabetes (T1D) research. T1D affects millions of people worldwide each year. Last year, this event raised over 3 million dollars. This year's event was held at the iconic Yonge-Dundas square. The day started off with a 60-minutes challenge, in which riders rode continuously for an hour. The rest of the day were filled with team challenges. Each team member took turn to sprint on the bike for 10 minutes while their teammates cheered on them. Fitness instructors from Leaside Cyclebar were on stage to lead each ride segment. Throughout the day, over a thousand people showed up to support this meaningful clause. This event has received strong corporate support from banks, insurance companies, law firms and universities etc.. Check out some of my favoriate images from this event.
Thank you!
