The new economy and a basic income guarantee conference
This conference bought together representatives from different parts of the society to examine a recent hot topic - a basic income guarantee for Canadians. Basic income guarantee (BIG) has been on the news frequently due to the steady rise to the cost of living across the nation. Experts from the academia, government and industry were invited to participate in this one day event. The day started off with a keynote speech from the hosting committee from the Ryerson university. Guest speakers took turn on the podium to present their findings and view points. They also engaged in live panel discussions with the audience, which generated a healthy amount of communication. Overall it was an organized event and I am glad to have provided photography service for it.
